Welcome to The High Wycombe & District Model Aircraft Club
We are one of the oldest clubs in the South of England.
We were founded in the 1930s and today enjoy flying a wide variety
of modern, radio controlled models.

ABOUT US
High Wycombe & District Model Aircraft Club (HWDMAC)
is delighted to announce our reincarnation, with a large new flying site near Cadmore End, Bucks.
Our new site offers a large, especially prepared new strip with a length of almost 100m. Alternative cross runways of 50m allow take-off and landing in most directions. We have received great support from the landowners who prepared and sowed the strip and created a special access track suitable for cars so that we can drive and park close to the pits. We have access to the field 7 days a week for both electric and IC powered models.
We welcome pilots of both fixed wing and rotary wing models, including multi-rotors and FPV. We provide training from beginner to BMFA B standard in fixed wing and, with two resident examiners there is no shortage of helpful advice before taking the test. We cannot provide formal training for helicopters, but we have several members with a lot of experience who will provide guidance. We also offer trial flights to anyone who is considering RC flying. We have always been proud of the welcoming, enthusiastic and friendly nature of our members who have given the Club much support over the years.
